Chesterton Sixth Form achieved our their best ever results, with half of all grades awarded at A or A*, and 83% of all grades A*-B.
This exceptional achievement reflects the continued growth and success of the sixth form.
These results are about far more than grades. Behind every success story is a young person who worked hard, embraced new challenges and made the most of the opportunities available to them. Today’s achievements reflect the ambition, determination and character of our students, supported by a dedicated team of teachers and pastoral staff who know them well and are committed to helping them succeed.
The record results we are celebrating today are part of a continuing journey. Year after year, our students are achieving more, progressing to exceptional destinations and demonstrating what is possible when high expectations are matched with the right support.
Our students have secured places at some of the country’s most prestigious universities, with 8% of our cohort securing places at Oxbridge, meaning all those holding offers achieved a place, and over 90% securing their first-choice university place.
Particular recognition should be given to the following students:
- Ruby, who achieved a fantastic A*A*A* and will be attending Kings College London, to read Biochemistry.
- Fliss, will be reading Philosophy at the University of Nottingham, also with a fantastic A*, A*, A*.
- Portia, with grades of A*, A*, A, A, will studying Archaeology at Cambridge.
- Quinn, who secured A*, A*, A, B and will be going to Cambridge to read History of Art.
- Katie, who achieved grades of A*, A, A and will be studying Biomedical Science, at the University of Warwick.
- Lily, A*, A, A, A and will be going to Cambridge to read Linguistics.
We could not be prouder of what our students and staff have achieved, and we are very much looking forward to our next cohort joining us in September. These results very much reflect the unique offer at Chesterton.
