We are absolutely thrilled to congratulate so many our students on achieving an amazing set of A Level results!
Overall, the average grade achieved was a B, with 31% of our students achieving A* – A across all of their subjects. We are incredibly proud of all of our students who managed to achieve these grades whilst giving so much to other aspects of their sixth form experience, from volunteering, social action in Kenya and even community building in Cornwall on the very first day! Our students will be progressing on to some fantastic destinations, with 95% of students receiving an offer from their first choice university. Some of our destinations include York; Cardiff; Bristol; UCL; Warwick; Oxford; Exeter; and Sheffield.
Special mentions must go to the following students:
- Marco who achieved A*A*A* and is headed to Oxford to read History.
- Janos who achieved A*AABB and will now read Egyptology at Oxford.
- Annabelle who achieved A*A*AA
- Karim who achieved A*AB and will be going to KCL to read Politics, Philosophy and Law
- Catrina who will be going to Leicester to study Medicine, after achieving AAAB.
- Amelie who achieved AAA and will be reading Psychology at Warwick.
- Amelie who achieved A*A*B and will go onto reading Psychology at Bath
- Harry who achieved A*AA and is headed to Reading for particular language course as well as a sustainability scholarship.
We would like to say a huge well done to everyone and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Since establishing in 2022, Chesterton Sixth Form has achieved so much in a short period of time, with two fantastic sets of A levels results and excellent progression to university, as well as a recent Outstanding Ofsted inspection. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new cohort of students, following next week’s GCSE results day, and welcoming back our Y12 into Y13.
